Yoga in the Church

Service Description

Yoga in the Church is suited to all ages and ability levels. These classes will be fun and joyful! They will also be opportunities to liberate suppressed energies––such as fear, anger, and hopelessness. Through the Presence of Christ and methodology of Kundalini Yoga, attendees will de-stress and grow stronger in Spirit. Parishioners interested in deepening their healing journey through the mind, body, and the path of the heart will find themselves right at home at Yoga in the Church. Students will need to bring their own yoga mat, blanket, and cushion for meditation if desired. All water bottles must have closed lids and all minds must have open ones. Classes will feature prayer, meditation, physical exercise, mantra (chanting), pranayama (breathing), as well as singing and dancing. Classes will also include a long relaxation with sound healing to restore the soul and bring ease to the body and mind.
